This Air Traffic Controller Is Too Stunning For The Control Tower

The Voice That Launched A Thousand Flight Plans

Somewhere between ‘cleared for takeoff’ and ‘descend to 3,000 feet,’ the internet collectively lost its mind over an air traffic controller whose radio transmissions have been clipped, remixed, and posted so many times that the FAA’s servers reportedly started buffering. Her voice — described by aviation forums as ‘the auditory equivalent of a first-class upgrade’ — has turned grown men into aspiring aviators overnight. By Thursday morning the post had 2.3 million upvotes and r/ATC_Moments had gained 890,000 new subscribers, the vast majority of whom cannot locate the transponder on a Cessna 172 and have no intention of learning. The clip itself features her calmly guiding a nervous student pilot through a crosswind landing, her voice so impossibly soothing and cool that aviation Twitter declared it ‘the ASMR the Wright Brothers died for.’
